The Japanese garden of Margaret Island has been established in 1882 and has been renovated in 2014.

The garden is accessible by a small wooden bridge. Inside is a nice waterfall. The center of the garden is a small pond with fish and turtles, and beautiful water lilies. In the middle of the fishpond is a small statue called the little mermaid of Budapest.
