Terms of service
Liability
The liability for the provision of transfer services between you and the service provider is restricted solely to those two parties between whom the service has been contracted. Bookinbudapest Kft. liabilities resulting from this agreement shall therefore be limited to those of a third-party broker between you and the service provider. Any liabilities resulting from the provision of the transfer service shall be the sole responsibility of the service provider and their insurance companies.
In agreeing to these terms and conditions you accept that Bookinbudapest Kft. will in no way be held responsible for any losses, expenses or claims made by you in the event of any problem associated with the service, the incorrect processing of your booking by the Service Provider, errors made by you when making the booking or inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us during the booking process.
Neither we nor the service provider, will be responsible for any losses you may suffer (including for example missed flights) due to your failure to allow sufficient time for your journey.
Availability of Service
Airport transfers: We guarantee your transfer reservation for the requested arrival time. In the very rarely unlikely event that we are unable to allocate a driver to your booking request we will email you to advise you as soon as possible.
Tours, programs: The tours, and programs guaranteed by our local partners. In the rare situation the program cancelled by the provide we provide full refund.
Our On-line Booking services, are provided on an "as is" basis and we do not make any representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the availability of any product(s).
Payment
You confirm that the payment details you provide us during the booking a service are correct, that the credit or debit card which you use is your own and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the service. Payments will be processed by Budapest Transfers SL.
- Credit card payment only available in EUR, USD, HUF.
- PayPal payment available: HUF, EUR, USD.
- If you choose to pay the driver, please ensure that you have the correct amount available, in the currency which selected during the reservation process.
Cancellations, modification
Any modifications to your reservation must be emailed to us a minimum of 32 hours before your scheduled transfer and are subject to approval. Cancellations must be emailed to us a minimum of 32 hours before the day of your transfer. Please note that all communication, including modifications and cancellations, must be made directly through our office via telephone or email. Bookinbudapest.com is not responsible for any arrangements made directly with your driver.
In case of cancellation (minimum 32 hours before the program, transfer), we provide a full refund for bank card and PayPal payments. (Full refund: the entire amount received will be refunded. Please note that bank commissions are not refundable, this amount is kept by the banks, its amount depends on the type of card used, 2-5%, PayPal keeps 5%.)
Unfortunately, the reservation cannot be canceled or modified within 32 hours. Some programs on our website cannot be cancelled, we draw attention to them separately on the given page.
Waiting Times, Contact Procedure and No-show Transfers
At the time of the transfer, the driver will wait at the agreed airport pick-up point for a maximum of 60 minutes from the time of flight arrival. The free waiting time from any other point shall be restricted to 10 minutes after the agreed pick up time.
In the unlikely event that you cannot locate the driver at the meeting point, or if you are delayed in customs, immigration, baggage collection or lost luggage, it is the passenger(s) responsibility to call the emergency number provided in the booking confirmation email to make contact with the driver.
If the passenger(s) fail to call the emergency contact number within 60 minutes of the actual landing time for airport collections, and within 10 minutes for non-airport collections, and as such the service provider is not made aware of the problem, the service will be considered a no-show and you accept to pay the full cost of the booked service.
Delayed Flights
Your flight will be monitored for delays by the local dispatch office, and in the case that your flight is delayed your reservation will be automatically updated to the arrival time of the flight. If the arrival flight is delayed for more than two hours and/or if there is no information provided by the airline about the new arrival time of the flight, the service provider does not guarantee that there will be a driver and vehicle available at the actual arrival time of the flight.
Luggage
Please inform us at the time of booking if you wish to travel with excess baggage. This is to ensure that the vehicle provided can accommodate you. The passenger(s) shall be liable for all expenses incurred should additional vehicles be required to transport non-declared excess or oversized luggage.
CARD PAYMENT
Bank card payment enables you to do your shopping in a safe and comfortable way in our web store. After ordering the selected items, you will be redirected to Stripe Bank’s payment site, where you can pay with your bank card using the safest encrypted transaction type currently available. The only thing you need to do is click on the “Payment with bank card” option when selecting the payment method, then enter the number and expiry date of your bank card together with the security code on the back of the card (CVC/CVV). The Bank accepts embossed VISA and MasterCard, and Visa Electron and MasterCard Electronic cards (subject to the decision of the bank issuing the card) as well as Maestro cards issued with a security code (CVC). Please refer to your Bank if no security code can be found on your Maestro card.
Cards issued exclusively for electronic use will only be accepted if the issuing bank has permitted their use. Please inquire at your bank whether your card can be used for online shopping.
Privacy Policy
The protection of your personal data is of paramount importance for bookinbudapest.com and its partners. Collection and processing of data of a personal nature - suitable for identification - provided in the course of using our web store is performed in accordance with prevailing Hungarian data protection regulations (Act CXII. of 2011 on informational Selfdetermination and Freedom of Information).
Your data will be handled confidentially and shall not be provided to third parties, except when necessary for the performance of the contract (e.g. postal or courier services). Our colleagues, partners and service providers are subject to an obligation of confidentiality.
