Statue of St. Stephen: The most impressive monument of the first king of Hungary in the Buda Castle

The statue of St. Stephen in Buda Castle is located in the square between the Fisherman's Bastion and the Matthias Church.

The equestrian statue was erected in 1906. Its designer was Alajos Stróbl. The pedestal of the statue is 540 cm high, the main bronze figure sitting on the horse is 400 cm.
