The Eugene of Savoy Statue is located on the Savoy Terrace, in front of the Royal Palace.
The equestrian statue was erected in 1900. The statue was made by József Róna.
The statue commemorates the Battle of Zenta. In the battle of 1697, the Christian armies, led by Prince Eugene of Savoy, won victory over the Turkish armies.
