Millennium Underground Museum, Budapest: The history of the Millennium Underground
The Millennium Underground Museum, an affiliate of the Museum of Transport, was opened in 1975 by the Budapest Transport Company and the city council.
The exhibition is located in the Deák Ferenc tér Metro station, in a 60 metre long metro tunnel, which was decommissioned during the reconstruction of the metro station.
